Short Description

This one day ERA-EDTA CME course is directed to nephrologists, cardiologists and internists who have an interest and role in the management of cardiorenal syndrome. The main objective of the course is defining the scope of cardiorenal syndrome and discussing several components of cardiorenal syndrome from both nephrology and cardiology perspectives. The major components of cardiorenal syndrome that will be covered are vitamin D, erythropoietin, salt and water and dialysis. The course program is planned to create an atmosphere where cardiorenal syndrome will be discussed from “nephrology and cardiology windows” and a “crosstalk” will ensue between two disciplines. After all talks there will be enough time for discussions and the course will finish with a “meet the expert session” where all lecturers and participants will freely discuss the issues related with cardiorenal syndrome. The course will be leaded by two pioneer names of cardiorenal syndrome.
