General information

The course is designed for pathologists, nephrologists, paediatric nephrologists and residents in these disciplines. During the first day, attention will be given to the newest developments and insights in pathophysiology, clinical nephrology and renal pathology. The second and third day, a practical course will be given which is fully digitalized: all participants will have a laptop to their disposal to study the biopsies with light microscopy, immunofluorescence and electron microscopy in an integrated fashion. Recognition of patterns will be emphasized in combination with clinical symptoms in order to classify the diagnosis. Characteristic cases as well as more complex and rare cases will be covered. All cases can be discussed personally, and at the end of each session there will be a general discussion with the teachers.

The registration fee is € 350.00 including coffee, tea, lunch and diner. A limited number of travel grants of  € 500.00 is available, for which you can apply through the address below. Recipients of travel grants are also free of registration fee.
