| Short Description |
Opportunity to train practical skills in renal biopsing and management of renal autoimmune diseases in an interactive and self-guided learning process.
1. Practical renal biopsy course with equipment-handling training and biopsies of kidneys in specifically prepared cadavers and
2. Tutorium with problem-orientated learning concerning renal autoimmune diseases.
Both parts will be held in a small group (10-12 persons). 2 general introducting lectures will be conducted in German with English slides. Individual courses (biopsy and tutorium) will be held in parallel and both in English and German. On Saturday, Feb 27th (the following day), the 5th Saxonian Nephrology and Pediatric Nephrology Educational Congress can be attended (German-speaking, program available at www.nephro-leipzig.de/).
