Short Description

This academy aims challenge current nursing and medical practice with the evidence base to educate and improve patient care. It is addressed to all health professionals who deliver dialysis care. There will be 4 themed modules per day over the 2 day course. Each theme will involve the academy interacting directly through small group discussion in which they can meet the experts face-to-face and by electronic voting within lecture sessions which present the latest evidence from the literature. We will learn by studying clinical cases treated at Imperial College Renal and Transplant Centre. This ability to interact with the audience will highlight areas of strength and weakness in knowledge and opinion and improve the learning opportunities for all.
