CASE STUDIES

INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHORS

NDT-educational considers Case Studies for on line publication. Since the goal of the WEB journal is educational, patients described in this section should be cases of general interest rather than "rare" cases. Ideally a Case Study should be instrumental for linking clinical management to guidelines and to solid prognostic, diagnostic and therapeutic studies. Case Studies illustrating difficulties in the clinical decision process in the real world or unusual problems in common diseases are welcome.

Submitted Case Reports should include:
1. one to three colour photographs.
2. Three to five quizzes (Multiple choice questions. Each question should have 3 to 5 answers, only one of which is correct).
3. Up to ten references.
4. Photo and Short CV of the first author.

Prospective authors are invited to visit the Case Studies page on the NDT-Educational Website to familiarise with the format of Case Studies. Only Case Studies in the appropriate format will be considered for online publication.

The maximum number of Case Studies that we may publish is 20 per year. Selection criteria are: 1) (general) interest of the observation(s) 2) clarity of the presentation and of the accompanying quizzes 3) quality of photographs.
Accepted Case Studies will published together with the photo and a short CV of the first author.

You can send your Case Study by e-mail to editor@ndt-educational.org
