Since WWII there has been an enormous accelerated increase in life expectancy world wide primarily due to prevention. Most of prevention is information sharing, therefore if we could harness the Internet for Prevention we could have a continuous improvement of health here and across the world. Dr. LaPorte and Ardalan will describe the building of the largest global network 56,000 academics of those engaged in prevention. From these academics we have build a “supercourse” which is a collection of 3455 PowerPoint lectures which are distribute for free in an open source library, to build capacity in teaching. In the past 12 months our site has received 80 million hits, and taught over one million students. We are the largest teachers of prevention in the world. We will describe our current unique efforts. These include close collaboration with WHO to build a WHO-NCD-Supercourse Certificate course, the building of an Islamic Supercourse across the 57 Muslim Countries. Dr. Ardalan will present from Iran concerning our disaster efforts and approaches to health (healthy) diplomacy.
We plan to present in over 60 countries world wide. Currently as seen below there will be at scientists from at least 38 countries. Questions will be outsourced to Russia via text messaging.
