This meeting is a joint initiative of the European Renal Association - European Dialysis and Transplant Association (ERA-EDTA) and the European Kidney Research Association (EKRA) and is organized by J. Floege and H.J. Gröne.

Fifteen invited speakers will cover tolerance, stem cells, dendritic cells, tissue transglutaminase, ischemia-reperfusion injury, new approaches to renal biopsies, Polyoma virus, renal lymphatic vessels, causes of late allograft failure, C4d adsorption therapy and the role of statins in renal transplantation.
