8185 men and women from the Atherosclerosis Risk In Communities with ANS dysfunction, estimated by high heart rate (HR) and low HR variability (HRV), were tested to see whether they were at increased risk for developing type 2 diabetes. These results of this study suggest that ANS dysfunction may be associated with the development of diabetes in healthy adults. |
