Interesting pilot study suggesting that CD80 (B7.1) is expressed in podocytes of patients with "active/relapsing" minimal change disease (and secreted into the urine) but not in patients with FSGS or MCD in remission. Clearly further comprehensive studies are need - but maybe CD80 is a marker for MCD.... |
