The AIM of the meeting will be for practising renal physicians to engage with cutting-edge science. The meeting will be held in an Oxford College which will provide an ideal setting for interaction between the participants and the opportunity for informal discussions with the lecturers. The meeting will focus on three topics, each of which will be the subject of a half day workshop with four lectures. In addition there will be a keynote lecture at the opening of the meeting.

1. Genetic insights into renal structure, function and disease

2. Vascular and glomerular inflammation – insights into aetiology and treatment
3. Repair and regeneration in renal disease
