Editorial issue 305

Let me start this 305th editorial by emphasizing a recent JCI paper. G. Couvrat-Desvergnes et al indeed publish on "Rabbit antithymocyte globulin-induced serum sickness disease and human kidney graft survival". A fresh look at an old drug regimen!
Next GB Piccoli et al report in NDT about "Pregnancy in dialysis patients in the new millennium: a systematic review and meta-regression analysis correlating dialysis schedules and pregnancy outcomes". Next again, in NDT too, S. Zschiedrich et al report on  "One hundred ABO-incompatible kidney transplantations between 2004 and 2014: a single-centre experience". Finally, MR Davids MR et al report in CKJ on "A renal registry for Africa: first steps".

CME lectures
With this issue of NDT-E, 2 more talks presented in London at ERA-EDTA are released. Pr Umberto Maggiore (Parma, Italy) first discusses "What is the risk of dialysis or death after living donation?". And then Pr Søren Schwartz Sørensen (Copenhagen, Denmark) reviews "The long road to living donor selection".

Enjoy NDT-E!
I wish you all, yours, the nephrology community and our small blue planet a merry Christmas, a happy holiday season and a peaceful and successfull year 2016!
