The first paper of this 315th issue of NDT-E deals with a currently hot topic in medicine and biology. YM Lei et al indeed just reported in the J Clin Invest  that "The composition of the microbiota modulates allograft rejection".
The next 3 papers were recently published online in NDT. J Savige  et al. report on "A further genetic cause of thin basement membrane nephropathy". Then V Dey  et al report on "Symptomatic fracture risk in the renal replacement therapy population". And L Johansson et al discuss "As we grow old: nutritional considerations for older patients on dialysis".
Finally, in CKJ C. Thongprayoon et al  ahev stuied 2The risk of acute kidney injury following transapical versus transfemoral transcatheter aortic valve replacement: a systematic review and meta-analysis".

CME lectures   
The 3 CME Lectures released with this issue deal with CKD-MBD. Prof Mario Cozzolino (Milan, Italy) discusses "Which vitamin D in dialysis patients ?".
Prof Pablo Antonio Urena Torres (Paris, France) provides an overview on "The calcium phosphate product and FGF23".
And Prof Tilman Drueke (Villejuif, France) reviws "Phosphate binders: which next?"
