Short Description
After more than 40 years of renal function replacement by means of dialysis, peritoneal dialysis and transplantation these methods have been established as appropriate therapy for patients with end-stage renal failure. At the moment we still have not defined the optimal renal replacement therapy. We need to improve renal care and organisational as well as government interest in assessing the current approaches to the therapy of glomerulonephritis and chronic kidney disease. Today, we have many guidelines for acute and chronic kidney diseases but their implementation remains a new challenge.
The aim of this ERA-EDTA/ISN CME course is to present an update in current tendencies in the therapy of glomerulonephritis and chronic kidney disease and to share the international experience from practice on the topic.
The course aims to further promote the visibility of ERA-EDTA and ISN and attract young fellows to become members of ERA-EDTA.
The course is targeting nephrologists and nurses from Bulgaria and other Balkan and European countries.
