Short Description
Kidney transplantation is the best treatment option for ESRD patients. In spite of great medical and economical benefits, kidney transplant program is not developed in a number of countries worldwide.
Program of this one-day ERA-EDTA CME course is divided into 4 sections, with the aim to review new recommendations in organization of the deceased donor transplant program, impact of organ quality and type of donors on outcome of kidney transplantation, importance of immunosuppressive therapy and most frequent complications after kidney transplantation.
The course is targeted to nephrologists, and internists who are interested in the management of kidney transplant patients. The course will be accompanied by the “Meet the expert” session to allow the participants to exchange knowledge in clinical practice with European leading nephrologists. Detailed program is enclosed.
