Short Description
Course area: Clinical nephrology, Course level: Short-monothematic, intermediate-advanced
Course organization: ERA-EDTA support only
Renal transplant CME course covering the pathogenesis of chronic and acute cellular or humoral allograft rejection, renal pathology and novel diagnostic tools (e.g. Luminex Assay) for rejection. The therapy and patient management including innovative treatment approaches (e.g. ABO-incompatible transplantation, desensitization in recipients with donor-specific HLA-Ab) as well as the topic of pregnancy after renal transplantation. Case examples will illustrate common and less frequent clinical scenarios.
