Short Description
This 1-day CME proposed by the EUTox WG of the ESAO, in collaboration with ERA-EDTA, will provide an in-depth analysis of the link between uremia, uremic toxins and vessel damage. The conferences will cover different aspects of the topic: the epidemiology of cardiovascular disease in CKD, the deleterious effects of uremic toxins on the vessels, and the improvement of toxin removal using novel dialysis techniques. The course is addressed to medical and non-medical people working on uremic toxicity or cardiovascular disease who are willing to increase their understanding of the problem. The course will end on a Meet the Experts session, where participants are invited to ask their questions to international experts.
