In collaboration with the Postgraduate Medical School in Prague, the European Renal Association (President F. Locatelli (Italy), program directors: E. Ritz (Germany), A. Wiecek (Poland) and V. Teplan (Czech Republic) will organise the 5th Postgraduate Training Course from Saturday, January 22nd until Wednesday, January 26th 2005, on the premises of the Prague Postgraduate Medical School. The meeting is supported by the Postgraduate Medical School and Czech Society of Nephrology. The topic of the conference are primary and secondary glomerulonephritis, renal transplantation, hypertension in renal disease, chronic and acute renal failure as well as options in dialysis therapy.

Striz (Czech Republic), V. Teplan (Czech Republic), V. Tesar (Czech Republic), S. Vitko (Czech Republic), C. Wanner (Germany), A. Wiecek (Poland).
The conference is aimed at nephrologists in training. Participants will be given a CD with slides covering the subjects of the presentations. There will be ample time for discussion and interactive sessions.
The participation fee is 100 Euro. Costs for accommodation and meals will be supported by the ERA-EDTA and Postgraduate Medical School, Prague. Limited number of participants for certain countries travel grants will be provided and admission fees will be waived.
