RESEARCH PROGRAMMESS AND PROJECTS LIST

The clinical research projects are focused on the prevention of progression of chronic nephropathies, primary and secondary prevention of diabetic nephropathy, prevention of transplant rejection, diagnosis and treatment of rare kidney diseases. The clinical research programmes are carried out at the Clinical Research Center of the Mario Negri Institute, where there are outpatient and Day Hospital facilities.


BASIC RESEARCH

RESEARCH PROGRAMMESS AND PROJECTS LIST

The basic research projects are focused on the mechanism of renal injury, mechanisms of progression of chronic kidney disease, gene therapy, transplant immunology, genetic studies of rare diseases (hemolytic-uremic syndrome; Fabry’s disease).
